Elon Musk of SpaceX outlines the Mission to Mars

Elon Musk has fast become one of the world’s foremost personalities for fringe technology, regardless of whether or not that technology succeeds the expectations of Musk, his investors or the public.

Musk’s companies such as Tesla Motors, Solar City and SpaceX have disrupted the status quo in their respective industries. Tesla for one will be one is geared to be one of the United States’ first successful motor vehicle companies for the last fifty years. Solar City, revolutionized the way buildings consume and use solar power. Now, SpaceX is being rushed back into the spot light with a recent keynote talk by Musk himself, highlighting the company’s direction toward Mars and beyond.

They keynote includes a large amount of technical specifications that to the general public is mostly lost, but also eludes to the amount of planning and forethought Musk and his team have gone through to get to this point.

Musk confesses that: “This is not a promotional video with things we would like to see, these are things that we are making, it’s probably going to look something like what you see in the video

As companies like SpaceX, Virgin Galactic and SES continue to push the advancement of private sector space advancement, the on-going collaboration between SES and SpaceX continues to grow and prosper with the launch of the latest SES satellite; SES-10 earlier in 2016 and the planned launch of SES-11 in the latter half of 2017.
