SES, the world’s leading satellite service provider, led the discussion on satellite’s role in the digital switch over at BON 2016, which took place at the Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja from 22 to 23 August.
Theodore Asampong, SES Sales Director Africa, shared his knowledge about content management and distribution, as well as the role of satellite in digital broadcasting. In his speech, Mr Asampong discussed content management, distribution and delivery, stressing the important role satellite plays in the transformation from analogue to digital technology.
He also participated in a panel discussion that addressed ways in which digital broadcasting platforms could drive positive social change.
SES’s West Africa team was also represented by Joy Ogadinma Emenike and Oyoenisai Andrew-Essien at the event, which brought together key figures in Nigeria’s broadcast industry.
