One insight gathered by the Satellite Monitor study in Nigeria is that, of 34 million homes, 94% have access to TV, and, of these, 56% have access to digital TV.
The Satellite Monitor study has been conducted in 37 countries. It has mostly been conducted in European markets, and is now being implemented in Africa. This is the first time that the study has been conducted in Nigeria, and the information uncovered in the Satellite Monitor study is invaluable to role players in the Nigerian market.
